Shipping
Please allow up to 4 business days for orders to dispatch. Orders are fulfilled and dispatched during business hours only, Monday to Friday. Orders are shipped within New Zealand only.
- Orders of $199.99 and over, we provide FREE standard* delivery to any address within New Zealand
- Orders under $199.99, a $9 charge is applied for standard* delivery to any address within New Zealand
*Standard delivery covers regions within the North Island & South Island only. Excluding outer NZ Islands + Pacific Islands. Additional courier costs to get to excluded regions will need to be paid by the customer.
All deliveries are with NZ Post or Aramex and ship within New Zealand. Your order will ship from our store in Auckland 1010 or our warehouse in Auckland 2022. Shipping delivery times will vary between 2-10 business days, depending on location through New Zealand. If you would like more specific delivery time frames please refer to the carrier websites https://www.nzpost.co.nz/, https://www.aramex.co.nz/
No deliveries will be made on weekends or holidays. Orders are processed and shipped during business hours only so please note that the mentioned estimate do not include nights, weekends or holidays.
Returns/Exchanges
Our Return Policy
We provide easy returns and exchanges for New Zealand orders purchased from https://andfriends.co.nz/ within 30 days of purchase, and up to 14 days after you initiate the return process.
- The item must be in new, unused and as received condition, including original tags and packaging in order to receive a refund or exchange
- Proof of purchase is required (e.g. receipt or online order confirmation number).
- Final Sale items cannot be returned. Final Sale items include gift cards and any items marked as Final Sale on our website.
- Returns are processed in the country of purchase.
- All returns should be shipped with tracking. We are not responsible for items lost during return shipping, and can not process your return until the item is received.
- We may investigate unusually high or suspicious return activity and can restrict an account where the returns process is being misused

Returns are usually processed within 5-7 business days of receipt. Please note that failure to meet any of our return conditions may result in your request for a refund or exchange to be declined.
Please note that only items purchased from https://andfriends.co.nz/ can be returned to And Friends New Zealand for a refund. Items purchased elsewhere must be returned to their original point of purchase.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please ensure the item remains unused and in the original packaging.

Section 3 — Consumer Guarantees (NZ & AU Law)
New Zealand: Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair-Trading Act 1986 (FTA). You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Australia: Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to limit or exclude rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Section 4 — Accuracy of Product Information & Pricing
We take every measure to provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing. However:
- Individual differences between devices (e.g., monitor colour calibration, browser settings) are outside our control. We cannot be held responsible for differences in colour between images and actual products.
- Prices displayed on this site are current at the time of display and are subject to change without notice.
- We do not warrant that product descriptions, pricing, or other website content is always accurate, complete, reliable, or error-free.
- We reserve the right to correct errors and update information, prices, and descriptions at any time without notice
- If pricing errors are discovered after an order has been placed, we will contact you prior to processing and provide you with the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel
Section 5 — Orders & Contract Formation
By placing an order on this website, you:
- Agree to the terms and price specified at checkout, including any delivery or other applicable charges.
- Acknowledge that your offer to purchase may be accepted or rejected by us for any reason, including unavailability of product, an error in price or product description, or an error in your order.
A binding contract between you and us is formed only when:
- Payment has been received in full; and
- We send you an order confirmation to your nominated email address.
We reserve the right to cancel any accepted order where we have reasonable grounds (e.g., suspected fraud, pricing error, stock unavailability). In such cases a full refund will be issued.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) without notice.
We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
Section 7 — Billing & Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our sole discretion — including orders from the same customer, same credit card, or same billing/shipping address.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including email address and credit card details, so we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
Section 8 — Delivery & Loss or Damage in Transit
We take every care in packing and dispatching your purchase. However:
- We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, civil commotion, or governmental actions.
- We are not responsible for loss of items that are wrongfully signed for and accepted by a third party at the delivery address
- Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery to the address you specified at checkout.
Where loss or damage occurs due to our error or negligence, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) or Australian Consumer Law (AU) are not affected.
Section 9 — Returns & Refunds
In addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) and Australian Consumer Law (AU), we offer the following returns policy:

- Any promotional discounts applied to a purchase will not be reapplied on subsequent purchases if goods are returned.
- Refunds for returned goods purchased with a promotional code will be credited for the original amount paid, to the original payment method.
Section 10 — Gift Cards
- E-gift cards are redeemable on our website(s) only.
- Gift cards expire three years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise required by law.
- Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, unless required by applicable law (including the ACL or CGA).
- Gift cards cannot be used to purchase another gift card.
- Gift cards are redeemable as full or part payment against any purchase

By using our designated hashtag(s) or submitting User Generated Content (UGC), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual licence to reproduce, display, perform, distribute, and otherwise use your content in connection with our website and digital marketing purposes (including websites, social media, email communications, and other media).
You warrant and represent that:
- You own all rights to your UGC or have the right to grant us the above licence.
- You have permission to use the name and likeness of any person shown in your UGC.
- Your UGC does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.

- Competitions are open to residents of Australia and New Zealand only, unless otherwise stated, and exclude employees and associates of Compendium Group and related companies.
- To enter, you must have internet access and a genuine social media account.
- Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries. Our decision is final.
- No purchase is necessary to enter, unless otherwise stated.
- Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
- By entering a competition, you agree to opt-in to receive electronic marketing from us. You may unsubscribe at any time.
- We collect personal data from entrants in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not share your details with third parties without consent.
Section 16 — Promotional Offers & Discount Codes
- One code per customer; one use only.
- Offer excludes gift cards unless otherwise stated.
- Codes are valid online only.

- Codes are valid for the period stated at time of issue.

Section 18 — Mobile (SMS) Terms of Service
By consenting to our SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from us through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is on a Do Not Call register.
- We do not charge for the SMS service, but standard carrier message and data rates may apply.
- You may opt out at any time by texting STOP to our number or clicking the unsubscribe link in any message.

- We are not liable for failed, delayed or misdirected messages
