The original Gramicci Pant from 1982, designed around the concept of Freedom of Movement. Originally developed by climbers for climbers, its gusseted crotch construction allows a full 180-degree range of motion.

The design has evolved with modern updates — increased hip room, a front zip fly and dual back pockets — and has become a versatile staple for outdoor life well beyond climbing.

100% organic cotton twill
Durable high-tension twill that withstands strenuous movement
Garment dyed for character

Wash Gramicci cotton clothing in cold water on a gentle machine cycle with similar colours.
Use a mild liquid detergent — no bleach and no fabric softener.
Wash garment-dyed pieces inside out and separately for the first few washes.
Reshape and dry away from direct heat and strong sunlight.
Garment-dyed cotton is meant to soften and fade with wear; washing cold slows it down.

Gramicci built the original 1982 climbing pant around freedom of movement, and the fit still reflects that — relaxed, low rise, with a gusseted crotch that lets you move.

The webbing belt is the key to how the waist fits: an integrated nylon cinch belt runs through a stretch waistband and adjusts with one hand, so the waist has real give in both directions. If you're between sizes on the waist, the belt takes up the difference — choose your size on hip, thigh and rise instead.
