Our super-relaxed Rock Slide Pants, now made from 9oz Japanese chambray. Woven in Kojima, this classic workwear fabric has a really soft, slubby handle that only gets better with age — if you're into denim but fancy something more wearable in the warmer months, these are for you.

Materials

9oz Japanese chambray woven in Kojima — 100% cotton
Soft, slubby handle that improves with age

Wash Gramicci cotton clothing in cold water on a gentle machine cycle with similar colours.
Use a mild liquid detergent — no bleach and no fabric softener.
Wash garment-dyed pieces inside out and separately for the first few washes.
Reshape and dry away from direct heat and strong sunlight.
Garment-dyed cotton is meant to soften and fade with wear; washing cold slows it down.

Gramicci built the original 1982 climbing pant around freedom of movement, and the fit still reflects that — relaxed, low rise, with a gusseted crotch that lets you move.

The webbing belt is the key to how the waist fits: an integrated nylon cinch belt runs through a stretch waistband and adjusts with one hand, so the waist has real give in both directions. If you're between sizes on the waist, the belt takes up the difference — choose your size on hip, thigh and rise instead.
